Résidence « Les Grands-Chênes »

The municipality of Céligny, in collaboration with the architectural firm Bunq SA in Nyon, winner of the architectural competition, has developed the Grands-Chênes project, which provides for the construction of a mixed residential scheme comprising rental housing (HM and LUP-HM) and condominium ownership (PPE).

The development consists of two PPE buildings (Buildings B and C, totalling 24 units), one HM building (Building D, 12 units) and one LUP-HM building (Building A, 16 units), as well as an underground car park, a public square, a wood-chip heating plant and a waste collection facility.

The new neighbourhood, connected to Route des Coudres via a passage through an oak hedge, respects the heritage character of the village and integrates harmoniously with its architecture. Walls constructed in continuity with the façades define courtyards for each building. At its centre, the development features circulation entirely dedicated to pedestrians, a commercial esplanade, as well as a park and gardens extending the existing meadow.

The apartments, ranging from 3 to 6 rooms and arranged over four levels including a penthouse level, benefit from views over a rural setting and/or the lake. Either dual-aspect or enjoying triple orientation, each apartment is fitted with one or even two generously proportioned loggias, as well as a large terrace for the penthouses and a garden for the ground floor units.

One or two underground parking spaces, as well as a cellar, are included with each unit. The building, designed to a high energy performance standard, предусматривает the use of environmentally friendly materials. In addition, the layout of the development takes advantage of the topography by limiting the building footprint in order to ensure generous shared outdoor spaces.
